It was introduced in San Francisco in 1855 by a gambler who made his way across North America during the gold rush. Like “guys poker night”, bunco is a social game that gives women an opportunity to break away from their everyday routine to enjoy laughs, companionship, and form lasting bonds. Bunco is a fun, fast-paced game that started over 200 years ago in England, and is now played by over 21 million women in the US.
 

2. Getting started ideas
a. Invite 12 friends to join your new bunco group
b. Pick a date and time for your first party (each of the 12 players will take turns hosting a bunco party throughout the year).
c. Type up a roster with all of the player’s names, contact information, and the month and date each individual will host a party.
d. Plan your menu and beverages.
e. Set up 3 tables with 4 seats each
f. Purchase a complete bunco kit, or have plenty of dice, score sheets, pens, and a bell available.
g. Explain the bunco game rules when everyone arrives on the first night and enjoy!
